Erie County rests against the shores of Lake Erie. The county seat is Sandusky and home to the Cedar Point Amusement Park which is know for the biggest, fastest, tallest, and best roller coasters in the world.
Kelly's Island in Lake Erie is part of Erie County. The other islands (South Bass and Put-In-Bay, Middle Bass, & North Bass) are part of Ottawa County.
