Auglaize County is Southwest of Toledo northwest of Columbus. The county seat is Wapakoneta - home of the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum. Wapakoneta was Neil's hometown.
The village of St. Marys resides on the east end of Lake St. Marys - a hand-dug lake built in the early 1900's to supply water to the canal transportation system being built at the time.
